Melrose Christian School is a private school that began in the fall of 2008 in the home of Terry and Serena Fink. Their home is one of the original Melrose Schoolhouses, operating from 1921-1950. As you near the end of Melrose Road, you will see the historical marker on this side of their property. A new classroom, measuring 20' x 40', was built during the summer of 2009. This was a wonderful improvement and has provided a larger learning environment for our students.
Serena Fink is a certified teacher with nine years of public school experience, three years of home schooling experience, and is currently in her fourth year teaching at Melrose Christian School. This school came into being as she felt strongly led by God to open a private Christian school in order to give other children individualized instruction. Leading students closer to Christ, as well as focusing on the core subjects of reading, writing, mathematics, and computer technology are the main objectives in this learning environment.
Our Unique Focus is placing students at the level they are currently at academically, no matter their age. Through individualized attention in a safe & non-judgmental environment, students can achieve academic success!

Lego Robotics!
Our school was awarded TWO scholarships for the next two years. We were also given a third kit, free of charge from a local family. This means we have three Lego Robotic kits for our students. What a blessing!

Melrose Christian Schoolhouse is located just 7 minutes from Kruse Farms, at the left hand side of the end of Melrose Road. It is a familiar location for many county residents as it is at the end of Melrose Road, the end of Colonial Road, and the beginning of the Flournoy Valley Road. We're the "T"in the road!
